Abu Sa‘id al-Ashajj narrated to us: Abu Khalid al-Ahmar narrated to us: Razin narrated to us: Salma narrated to me: I entered upon Umm Salamah while she was crying. I asked, ‘What is making you cry?’ She said, ‘I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ—in a dream, she meant—with dust on his head and beard. I asked, “What is wrong, Messenger of Allah?” He said, “I have just witnessed the killing of al-Husayn.”’ This hadith is gharib.
