Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3773
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الأَنْصَارِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الأَشْعَثُ، هُوَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ، قَالَ صَعِدَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْمِنْبَرَ فَقَالَ " إِنَّ ابْنِي هَذَا سَيِّدٌ يُصْلِحُ اللَّهُ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ فِئَتَيْنِ عَظِيمَتَيْنِ " . هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . يَعْنِي الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ .
Muhammad ibn Bashshar narrated to us: Muhammad ibn ‘Abdullah al-Ansari narrated to us: al-Ash‘ath—he is Ibn ‘Abd al-Malik—narrated to us, from al-Hasan, from Abu Bakrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ascended the pulpit and said, ‘Indeed, this son of mine is a leader. Through him, Allah will bring reconciliation between two great groups.’ This hadith is hasan sahih. The reference is to al-Hasan ibn ‘Ali.
