Muhammad ibn Bashshar narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us: Shu‘bah narrated to us, from ‘Adi ibn Thabit, who said: I heard al-Bara’ ibn ‘Azib say: I saw the Prophet ﷺ carrying al-Hasan ibn ‘Ali on his shoulder while saying, ‘O Allah, I love him, so love him.’ Abu ‘Isa said: This hadith is hasan sahih, and it is more authentic than the report of Fudayl ibn Marzuq.
