About The One Who Verbally Abuses The Companions Of The Prophet (SAW) Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3865
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ نَاجِيَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ أَبِي طَيْبَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِي يَمُوتُ بِأَرْضٍ إِلاَّ بُعِثَ قَائِدًا وَنُورًا لَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " . هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ . وَرُوِيَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ أَبِي طَيْبَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مُرْسَلاً وَهُوَ أَصَحُّ
Translation
Narrated 'Abdullah bin Buraidah
from his father, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "There is no one among my Companions who dies in a land except that he shall be resurrected as a guide and light for them (people of that land) on the Day of Resurrection."
