‘Ali reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was neither tall nor short. His palms and feet were broad, his head was large, his joints substantial, and the line of hair down his chest was long. When he walked, he leaned forward as though descending a slope. I have never seen anyone like him, before or after him. Abu ‘Isa said: This is a hasan sahih hadith. Sufyan ibn Waki‘ narrated it to us from his father, from al-Mas‘udi, with a similar chain and wording.
