ʿAbd Allāh reported that the Messenger of Allah said: “The first matter to be judged among people will be cases involving bloodshed.” Abū ʿĪsā said: ʿAbd Allāh’s hadith is ḥasan ṣaḥīḥ. More than one narrator transmitted it from al-Aʿmash as a Prophetic report, while some narrated it from al-Aʿmash without attributing it to the Prophet.
