Mahmud ibn Ghaylan narrated to us: Abd al-Samad ibn Abd al-Warith narrated to us: Hammam narrated to us: Qatadah narrated to us, from Anas ibn Malik, that Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf and al-Zubayr ibn al-Awwam complained to the Prophet (Allah bless him and grant him peace) about lice during an expedition they were on. He granted them a concession to wear silk shirts. Anas said: I saw them wearing them.
Abu Isa said: This hadith is hasan sahih.
