حَدَّثَنَا الأَنْصَارِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِذَا انْتَعَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَبْدَأْ بِالْيَمِينِ وَإِذَا نَزَعَ فَلْيَبْدَأْ بِالشِّمَالِ فَلْتَكُنِ الْيُمْنَى أَوَّلَهُمَا تُنْعَلُ وَآخِرَهُمَا تُنْزَعُ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .

Al-Ansari narrated to us: Ma‘n narrated to us: Malik narrated to us. (A second chain:) Qutaybah narrated to us, from Malik, from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A‘raj, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: ‘When one of you puts on sandals, let him begin with the right; and when he takes them off, let him begin with the left. Let the right sandal be the first put on and the last removed.’ Abu ‘Isa said: This hadith is hasan sahih (good and authentic).
