Ibn Abi ‘Umar narrated to me: Sufyan ibn ‘Uyaynah narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid, from Umm Hani’, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to Mecca with four braids in his hair. Abu ‘Isa said: This hadith is hasan gharīb (good, though rare). Muhammad said: I do not know that Mujahid heard directly from Umm Hani’.
