Mahmud ibn Ghaylan narrated to us: Qabisah narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Ibn Jurayj, from Abd al-Hamid, from Ibn Ya'la, from his father, that the Prophet circumambulated the House with his upper garment tucked under his right arm and over his left shoulder, wearing a striped mantle.

Abu Isa said: This is Sufyan's hadith from Ibn Jurayj. We know it only through this route. It is a hasan sahih hadith. Abd al-Hamid was Ibn Jubayr ibn Shaybah; Ibn Ya'la was his father, Ya'la ibn Umayyah.
