حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أُثَيْعٍ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَلِيًّا بِأَىِّ شَيْءٍ بُعِثْتَ قَالَ بِأَرْبَعٍ لاَ يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ إِلاَّ نَفْسٌ مُسْلِمَةٌ وَلاَ يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ عُرْيَانٌ وَلاَ يَجْتَمِعُ الْمُسْلِمُونَ وَالْمُشْرِكُونَ بَعْدَ عَامِهِمْ هَذَا وَمَنْ كَانَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَهْدٌ فَعَهْدُهُ إِلَى مُدَّتِهِ وَمَنْ لاَ مُدَّةَ لَهُ فَأَرْبَعَةُ أَشْهُرٍ . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ عَلِيٍّ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ .

Ali ibn Khashram narrated to us: Sufyan ibn Uyaynah informed us, from Abu Ishaq, from Zayd ibn Uthay', who said: I asked Ali, ‘With what were you sent?’ He replied, ‘With four instructions: no one but a Muslim soul will enter Paradise; no one may circumambulate the House naked; Muslims and polytheists will not gather after this year; and whoever has a treaty with the Prophet keeps it until its term. If no term was specified, it lasts four months.’
