Ibn Abi Umar and Nasr ibn Ali narrated to us: Sufyan ibn Uyaynah narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, with a similar report. Both said: Zayd ibn Yuthay'—this is more accurate. Abu Isa said: Shu'bah made a mistake in this report, saying Zayd ibn Uthayl.
Notes and open questions — unreviewed
This passage corrects the narrator's name in the preceding report: Zayd ibn Yuthay' is considered more accurate than Zayd ibn Uthayl.
