حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، عَنْ رَجَاءٍ أَبِي يَحْيَى، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُسَافِعًا الْحَاجِبَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " إِنَّ الرُّكْنَ وَالْمَقَامَ يَاقُوتَتَانِ مِنْ يَاقُوتِ الْجَنَّةِ طَمَسَ اللَّهُ نُورَهُمَا وَلَوْ لَمْ يَطْمِسْ نُورَهُمَا لأَضَاءَتَا مَا بَيْنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا يُرْوَى عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو مَوْقُوفًا قَوْلُهُ . وَفِيهِ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَيْضًا وَهُوَ حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ .

Qutaybah narrated to us: Yazid ibn Zuray' narrated to us, from Raja' Abu Yahya, who said: I heard Musafi' al-Hajib say: I heard Abd Allah ibn Amr say: I heard the Messenger of Allah say, ‘The Corner and the Station are two rubies from Paradise. Allah has dimmed their light; had He not dimmed it, they would illuminate everything between east and west.’
Abu Isa said: This is also narrated as the statement of Abd Allah ibn Amr himself, rather than as a prophetic report. There is also a report on this topic from Anas. This is a gharib hadith.

‘The Corner’ refers to the Black Stone corner of the Ka'bah, and ‘the Station’ to the Station of Abraham.
