Qutaybah and Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, saying: Yahya ibn al-Yaman narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Ubayd Allah, from Nafi', from Ibn Umar, that the Prophet bought his sacrificial animal at Qudayd.
Abu Isa said: This is a gharib hadith; we know it from Sufyan only through Yahya ibn al-Yaman. It has also been narrated from Nafi' that Ibn Umar bought his sacrificial animal at Qudayd. Abu Isa said: This latter report is more sound.
