Muhammad ibn Bashshar narrated to us: Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Sufyan, who said: Zubayd al-Ayyami narrated to me, from Ibrahim, from Masruq, from Abdullah, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: "He is not one of us who tears open the neck openings of garments, strikes the cheeks, and calls with the call of the pre-Islamic era." Abu Isa said: This is a hasan sahih hadith.
