What Has Been Related About Walking In Front Of (The Deceased Being Carried For) The Funeral Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1007
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، وَمَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَيَمْشُونَ أَمَامَ الْجَنَازَةِ .
Translation
Salim narrated that
His father said: "I saw the Prophet, Abu Bakr, and Umar walking in front of the funeral."
