حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ الْهَاشِمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قُتَيْبَةَ، عَنِ الْجَرَّاحِ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم اتَّبَعَ جَنَازَةَ أَبِي الدَّحْدَاحِ مَاشِيًا وَرَجَعَ عَلَى فَرَسٍ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .

Abdullah ibn al-Sabbah al-Hashimi narrated to us: Abu Qutaybah narrated to us, from al-Jarrah, from Simak, from Jabir ibn Samurah, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) walked with the funeral procession of Abu al-Dahdah and returned on horseback. Abu Isa said: This is a hasan sahih hadith.
