Ahmad ibn Mani' narrated to us: Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, who heard Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab, from Abu Hurairah, attributing it to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: "Hasten with the funeral procession. If the deceased is righteous, you are bringing him forward to what is good; if he is otherwise, you are removing an evil from your necks." A report on this topic is also related from Abu Bakrah. Abu Isa said: The hadith of Abu Hurairah is hasan sahih.
