حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، أَنَّ أُمَّ سَعْدٍ، مَاتَتْ وَالنَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم غَائِبٌ فَلَمَّا قَدِمَ صَلَّى عَلَيْهَا وَقَدْ مَضَى لِذَلِكَ شَهْرٌ .

Muhammad ibn Bashshar narrated to us: Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Sa'id ibn Abi Arubah, from Qatadah, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab, that Umm Sa'd died while the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was away. When he returned, he performed the funeral prayer for her, a month having passed.
