حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، وَنَصْرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْكُوفِيُّ، وَيُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْقَطَّانُ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا حَكَّامُ بْنُ سَلْمٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " اللَّحْدُ لَنَا وَالشَّقُّ لِغَيْرِنَا " . وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَعَائِشَةَ وَابْنِ عُمَرَ وَجَابِرٍ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ .

Abu Kurayb, Nasr ibn Abd al-Rahman al-Kufi, and Yusuf ibn Musa al-Qattan al-Baghdadi narrated to us: They said: Hakkam ibn Salm narrated to us, from Ali ibn Abd al-A'la, from his father, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn Abbas, who said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'The niche grave is for us, and the trench grave is for others.' Reports on this topic are also related from Jarir ibn Abdullah, Aishah, Ibn Umar, and Jabir. Abu Isa said: The hadith of Ibn Abbas is gharīb through this route.
