Muhammad ibn Bashshar narrated to us: Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated to us: Ibrahim ibn Sa'd narrated to us, from his father, from Umar ibn Abi Salamah, from his father, from Abu Hurairah, from the Prophet, who said: The believer's soul remains suspended by his debt until it is paid on his behalf. Abu Isa said: This hadith is hasan, and it is more authentic than the first.
