حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، عَنِ الْمَسْعُودِيِّ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلاَقَةَ، قَالَ صَلَّى بِنَا الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ شُعْبَةَ فَلَمَّا صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَامَ وَلَمْ يَجْلِسْ فَسَبَّحَ بِهِ مَنْ خَلْفَهُ فَأَشَارَ إِلَيْهِمْ أَنْ قُومُوا فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ مِنْ صَلاَتِهِ سَلَّمَ وَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَىِ السَّهْوِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَالَ هَكَذَا صَنَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . وَقَدْ رُوِيَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم .

Ziyad ibn Ilqah said: Al-Mughirah ibn Shubah led us in prayer. After praying two rakahs, he stood without sitting. Those behind him prompted him with tasbih, but he gestured to them to stand. When he completed the prayer, he said the taslim, performed the two prostrations of forgetfulness, said the taslim again, and said: "This is how the Messenger of Allah did it." Abu Isa said: This hadith is hasan sahih. It has been transmitted through more than one chain from al-Mughirah ibn Shubah, from the Prophet.
