Al-Mughirah ibn Shubah reported that the Messenger of Allah prayed until his feet became swollen. He was asked: Do you burden yourself with this when your past and future sins have been forgiven? He replied: "Should I not be a grateful servant?" Reports on this topic are also narrated from Abu Hurayrah and Aishah. Abu Isa said: The hadith of al-Mughirah ibn Shubah is hasan sahih.
