ʿAbd ibn Ḥumayd narrated to us: Yūnus ibn Muḥammad narrated to us, from ʿAbd al-Munʿim, with similar wording. Abū ʿĪsā said: We know this hadith of Jābir only through this route, through ʿAbd al-Munʿim. Its chain is unknown, and ʿAbd al-Munʿim is a Basran shaykh.

The compiler says this is the only known route through ʿAbd al-Munʿim and characterizes its chain as unknown.
No decision requested; the source’s chain assessment is attributed to Abū ʿĪsā.
