Qutaybah and Ibn Abi Umar narrated to us; they said: Sufyan ibn Uyaynah narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Salim, from his father, who said: I saw the Messenger of Allah raise his hands when beginning the prayer until they were level with his shoulders, when bowing, and when raising his head from bowing. Ibn Abi Umar added in his version: He did not raise them between the two prostrations.
