قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، نَحْوَهُ . وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ، هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ مِنْ غَيْرِ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ أَنَّهُ صَلَّى بِاللَّيْلِ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ .

He said: Muhammad ibn Bashshar narrated to us: Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated to us, from Shu‘bah, a report similar to it. This hadith has also been narrated from Hudhayfah through another route: he prayed with the Prophet during the night, and he mentioned the hadith.
