Qutaybah narrated to us: Bakr ibn Mudar narrated to us, from Ibn al-Had, from Muhammad ibn Ibrahim, from Amir ibn Sa‘d ibn Abi Waqqas, from al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib, who heard the Messenger of Allah say: ‘When a servant prostrates, seven body parts prostrate with him: his face, his two palms, his two knees, and his two feet.’

Reports on this subject are also related from Ibn Abbas, Abu Hurayrah, Jabir, and Abu Sa‘id. Abu Isa said: The hadith of al-Abbas is hasan sahih, and the scholars acted on it.
