حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَكْمَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِيمَانًا أَحْسَنُهُمْ خُلُقًا وَخِيَارُكُمْ خِيَارُكُمْ لِنِسَائِهِمْ خُلُقًا " . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .

Abu Kurayb Muhammad ibn al-Ala narrated to us: Abdah ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Amr, who narrated to us, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurairah, who said: The Messenger of Allah said: The believers most complete in faith are those best in character, and the best of you are those best in character toward their wives. It is also reported in this chapter from Aishah and Ibn Abbas. Abu Isa said: This hadith of Abu Hurairah is hasan sahih.
