Ali ibn Hujr informed us: Sharik told us, from Mukhawwal ibn Rashid, from Muslim al-Batin, from Said ibn Jubayr, from Ibn Abbas, who said: On Friday, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to recite Surat al-Sajdah and “Has there not come upon man” in the dawn prayer. Reports on this subject are also related from Sad, Ibn Masud, and Abu Hurayrah. Abu Isa said: The hadith of Ibn Abbas is hasan sahih. Sufyan al-Thawri, Shubah, and more than one other narrator transmitted it from Mukhawwal.
