حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِنَّ أَهْوَنَ أَهْلِ النَّارِ عَذَابًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ رَجُلٌ فِي إِخْمَصِ قَدَمَيْهِ جَمْرَتَانِ يَغْلِي مِنْهُمَا دِمَاغُهُ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ .

Al-Nu‘man ibn Bashir reported that the Messenger of Allah said: ‘The person least punished among the people of the Fire on the Day of Resurrection will be a man with two embers beneath the arches of his feet, from which his brain will boil.’ Abu ‘Isa said: ‘This hadith is hasan sahih.’ Reports on this topic are also related from al-‘Abbas ibn ‘Abd al-Muttalib, Abu Sa‘id al-Khudri, and Abu Hurairah.
