Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا صَلَّى الْفَجْرَ قَعَدَ فِي مُصَلاَّهُ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .

Qutaybah told us: Abu al-Ahwas told us, from Simak ibn Harb, from Jabir ibn Samurah, who said: After the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, prayed the dawn prayer, he would remain seated in his prayer place until the sun rose. Abu Isa said: This hadith is hasan sahih.
