Mahmud ibn Ghaylan and more than one other narrator told us: al-Fadl ibn Musa told us, from Abdullah ibn Said ibn Abi Hind, from Thawr ibn Zayd, from Ikrimah, from Ibn Abbas, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to glance to his right and left during prayer without turning his neck backward. Abu Isa said: This hadith is gharib. Waki contradicted al-Fadl ibn Musa in his narration.
