حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ أَبِي الشَّعْثَاءِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يُحِبُّ التَّيَمُّنَ فِي طُهُورِهِ إِذَا تَطَهَّرَ وَفِي تَرَجُّلِهِ إِذَا تَرَجَّلَ وَفِي انْتِعَالِهِ إِذَا انْتَعَلَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . وَأَبُو الشَّعْثَاءِ اسْمُهُ سُلَيْمُ بْنُ أَسْوَدَ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ .

Hannad told us: Abu al-Ahwas told us, from Ashath ibn Abi al-Shatha, from his father, from Masruq, from Aishah, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, liked beginning with the right side when purifying himself, combing his hair, and putting on his shoes. Abu Isa said: This hadith is hasan sahih. Abu al-Shatha was named Sulaym ibn Aswad al-Muharibi.
