Harun ibn Ishaq al-Hamdani told us: Abd al-Razzaq told us, from Mamar, from al-Zuhri, from Salim, from Ibn Umar, from Umar, that he donated a horse for service in the path of Allah. Later he saw it being sold and wanted to buy it. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: ‘Do not take back your charity.’ Abu Isa said: This is a hasan sahih hadith.
