Mahmud ibn Ghaylan told us: al-Muammal told us, from Sufyan, from Mansur, from Abu Wail, from Masruq, from Aishah, who said that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: ‘When a woman gives from her husband’s home willingly and without causing harm, she receives a reward like his; she receives the reward for her good intention, and the person entrusted with the stores receives the same.’ Abu Isa said: This is a hasan sahih hadith, and it is sounder than the report of Amr ibn Murrah from Abu Wail. Amr ibn Murrah does not mention Masruq in his chain.
