Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو تُمَيْلَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْمُؤْمِنِ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ لَمْ يَكُنْ ثَوْبٌ أَحَبَّ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنْ قَمِيصٍ .
Translation
Ziyad ibn Ayyub narrated to us: Abu Tumaylah narrated to us: ʿAbd al-Muʾmin ibn Khalid narrated to me, from ʿAbd Allah ibn Buraydah, from his father, from Umm Salamah, who said: No garment was more beloved to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ than the shirt.
