Sunan Abi Dawud 3804

Muhammad ibn al-Musaffa al-Himsi narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Harb narrated to us, from al-Zubaydi, from Marwan ibn Ruʾbah al-Taghlibi, from ʿAbd al-Rahman ibn Abi ʿAwf, from al-Miqdam ibn Maʿdikarib, from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, who said: “Know that no beast of prey with fangs is lawful, nor a domestic donkey, nor property found belonging to a treaty-protected person, unless he has no need of it. If a man is a guest among people and they do not provide him hospitality, he may repay them with hospitality equivalent to what was due to him.”
