Sunan Abi Dawud 3813
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الزِّبْرِقَانِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ التَّيْمِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ، قَالَ سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنِ الْجَرَادِ فَقَالَ " أَكْثَرُ جُنُودِ اللَّهِ لاَ آكُلُهُ وَلاَ أُحَرِّمُهُ " . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ رَوَاهُ الْمُعْتَمِرُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَمْ يَذْكُرْ سَلْمَانَ .
Muhammad ibn al-Faraj al-Baghdadi narrated to us: Ibn al-Zibriqan narrated to us: Sulayman al-Taymi narrated to us, from Abu ʿUthman al-Nahdi, from Salman, who said: The Prophet ﷺ was asked about locusts and replied: “They are among the most numerous troops of Allah. I do not eat them, nor do I declare them forbidden.” Abu Dawud said: al-Muʿtamir narrated it from his father, from Abu ʿUthman, from the Prophet ﷺ, without mentioning Salman.
