Sunan Abi Dawud 3824
ʿUthman ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us: Jarir narrated to us, from al-Shaybani, from ʿAdi ibn Thabit, from Zirr ibn Hubaysh, from Hudhayfah—I think he attributed it to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, who said: “Whoever spits toward the qiblah will come on the Day of Resurrection with his spittle between his eyes. Whoever eats this foul-smelling plant must not approach our mosque.” He repeated this three times.
