Musa ibn Ismaʿil narrated to us: Hammad narrated to us, from Thabit, from Anas ibn Malik: When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate food, he licked his three fingers. He said: “If a morsel of one of you falls, let him remove any dirt from it and eat it; let him not leave it for Satan.” He instructed us to clean the dish, saying: “For none of you knows in which part of his food blessing lies.”
