حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ، عَنْ إِيَاسِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ غَزَوْنَا مَعَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ - رضى الله عنه - زَمَنَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلمفَكَانَ شِعَارُنَا أَمِتْ أَمِتْ

Iyas ibn Salamah reported from his father, who said: We went on a military expedition with Abu Bakr - may Allah be pleased with him - during the time of the Prophet - may Allah bless him and grant him peace -, and our battle cry was, "Kill! Kill!"
