Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَنْ حَسَا سُمًّا فَسُمُّهُ فِي يَدِهِ يَتَحَسَّاهُ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدًا مُخَلَّدًا فِيهَا أَبَدًا " .
Translation
Ahmad ibn Hanbal narrated to us: Abu Muʿawiyah narrated to us: al-Aʿmash narrated to us, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah, who said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever drinks poison, carrying it in his hand to sip, will sip it in the Fire of Hell, remaining there forever.”
