Sunan Abi Dawud 3877
Musaddad and Hamid ibn Yahya narrated to us, saying: Sufyan narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from ʿUbayd Allah ibn ʿAbd Allah, from Umm Qays daughter of Mihsan, who said: I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with a son of mine, after I had treated his uvular swelling by pressing it. He said: “Why do you press your children in this way to treat the uvula? Use this Indian wood, for it contains seven remedies, including one for pleurisy. It is administered through the nose for uvular swelling, and placed in the side of the mouth for pleurisy.” Abu Dawud said: By Indian wood he meant costus.
