Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ مِغْوَلٍ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لاَ رُقْيَةَ إِلاَّ مِنْ عَيْنٍ أَوْ حُمَةٍ " .
Translation
Musaddad narrated to us: ʿAbd Allah ibn Dawud narrated to us, from Malik ibn Mighwal, from Husayn, from al-Shaʿbi, from ʿImran ibn Husayn, from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: “There is no incantation except for the evil eye or a venomous sting.”
