A Woman Undoing (The Braids Of) Her Hair While Performing Ghusl
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ بِنْتِ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، - رضى الله عنها - قَالَتْ كُنَّانَغْتَسِلُ وَعَلَيْنَا الضِّمَادُ وَنَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مُحِلاَّتٌ وَمُحْرِمَاتٌ .
Translation
'Aishah said
we took a bath while having an adhesive substance over us (our head) in both states, namely, when wearing a robe for Hajj (ihram) and when wearing ordinary clothes (not meant for Hajj).
