Eating With A Menstruating Woman And Being Around Her Sunan Abi Dawud 260
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلميَضَعُ رَأْسَهُ فِي حِجْرِي فَيَقْرَأُ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ .
Translation
'Aishah said
Muhammad ibn Kathir narrated to us: Sufyan narrated to us, from Mansur ibn Abd al-Rahman, from Safiyyah, from Aishah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to place his head in my lap and recite [the Quran] while I was menstruating.
