Translation
Al-Hasan ibn 'Amr narrated to us: Sufyan—meaning (Ibn 'Abd al-Malik)—informed us, from Ibn al-Mubarak, from Ma'mar, from Ayyub, from Mu'adhah al-'Adawiyyah, from 'Aishah, with this hadith. Abu Dawud said: And he added in it: "We were commanded to make up the fast, but we are not commanded to make up the prayer."
