Yazid ibn Khalid ibn Abdullah ibn Mawhab al-Ramli narrated to us: Al-Laith ibn Sa'd narrated to us, from Ibn Shihab, from Habib, the freed slave of Urwah, from Nudbah, the freed slave of Maymunah, from Maymunah, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to engage in physical intimacy with his wives while they were menstruating, provided they wore a wrapper (izar) that reached up to the middle of the thighs or the knees, wrapping themselves in it.
