Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنْ بَعْضِ، أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَإِذَا أَرَادَ مِنَ الْحَائِضِ شَيْئًا أَلْقَى عَلَى فَرْجِهَا ثَوْبًا .
Translation
Narrated One of the Wives of the Prophet
Musa ibn Ismail narrated to us: Hammad narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Ikrimah, from one of the wives of the Prophet (ﷺ) that whenever the Prophet (ﷺ) wanted something from a menstruating woman, he would place a garment over her private part.
