حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ أَحْمَدُ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَشْعَثُ، وَقَالَ الْحَسَنُ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏لاَ يَبُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي مُسْتَحَمِّهِ ثُمَّ يَغْتَسِلُ فِيهِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَحْمَدُ ‏"‏ ثُمَّ يَتَوَضَّأُ فِيهِ فَإِنَّ عَامَّةَ الْوَسْوَاسِ مِنْهُ

Narrated Abdullah ibn Mughaffal

Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Hanbal and Al-Hasan ibn Ali narrated to us, saying: Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, saying: Ahmad said: Ma'mar narrated to us, Ash'ath informed me, and Al-Hasan said: From Ash'ath ibn Abd Allah, from Al-Hasan, from Abd Allah ibn Mughaffal, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "None of you should ever urinate in his bathing place and then take a bath in it." Ahmad said: "Or perform ablution in it, for most whispers (doubts and evil thoughts) come from it."
